Chiral Brønsted Acid-Catalyzed Enantioselective Three-Component Povarov Reaction
TL;DR: The three-component Povarov reaction of aldehydes, anilines, and benzyl N-vinylcarbamate 4 in the presence of 0.1 equiv of chiral phosphoric acid afforded cis-2,4-disubstituted tetrahydroquinolines in good yields and excellent enantiomeric excesses.
Journal ArticleDOI
Beta-lactamase database (BLDB) – structure and function
Thierry Naas,Saoussen Oueslati,Rémy A. Bonnin,Maria Laura Dabos,Agustin Zavala,Laurent Dortet,Pascal Retailleau,Bogdan I. Iorga +7 more
TL;DR: The characterisation of representative mutants and hydrolytic profiles (kinetics) completes the picture and altogether these four elements constitute the essential foundation for a better understanding of the structure-function relationship within this enzymes family.
Journal ArticleDOI
An histidine covalent receptor and butenolide complex mediates strigolactone perception
Alexandre de Saint Germain,Guillaume Clavé,Marie-Ange Badet-Denisot,Jean-Paul Pillot,David Cornu,David Cornu,Jean-Pierre Le Caer,Marco Bürger,Frank Pelissier,Pascal Retailleau,Colin G. N. Turnbull,Sandrine Bonhomme,Joanne Chory,Catherine Rameau,François-Didier Boyer +14 more
TL;DR: An undescribed mechanism of plant hormone reception where the receptor performs an irreversible enzymatic reaction to generate its own ligand is revealed.
Journal ArticleDOI
High-Performance Solution-Processed Solar Cells and Ambipolar Behavior in Organic Field-Effect Transistors with Thienyl-BODIPY Scaffoldings
Thomas Bura,Nicolas Leclerc,Sadiara Fall,Patrick Lévêque,Thomas Heiser,Pascal Retailleau,Sandra Rihn,Antoine Mirloup,Raymond Ziessel +8 more
TL;DR: Green-absorbing dipyrromethene dyes engineered from bis-vinyl-thienyl modules are planar molecules, exhibiting strong absorption in the 713-724 nm range and displaying comparable electron and hole mobilities in thin films.
Journal ArticleDOI
An Organocatalytic [3+2] Cyclisation Strategy for the Highly Enantioselective Synthesis of Spirooxindoles
TL;DR: 3-spirocyclopentane-2-oxindole scaffolds are embodied in natural alkaloid derivatives such as marcfortines, citrinadins cyclopiamines, notoamide and versicolamides and they also find applications in the area of medicinal chemistry.
