Journal ArticleDOI
Myelodysplasia and leukemia of Fanconi anemia are associated with a specific pattern of genomic abnormalities that includes cryptic RUNX1/AML1 lesions
Samuel Quentin,Wendy Cuccuini,Raphael Ceccaldi,Olivier Nibourel,Corinne Pondarré,Marie-Pierre Pages,Nadia Vasquez,Catherine Dubois d'Enghien,Jérôme Larghero,Régis Peffault de Latour,Vanderson Rocha,Jean-Hugues Dalle,Pascale Schneider,Mauricette Michallet,Gérard Michel,André Baruchel,François Sigaux,Eliane Gluckman,Thierry Leblanc,Dominique Stoppa-Lyonnet,Claude Preudhomme,Gérard Socié,Jean Soulier +22 more
TL;DR: Frequent homozygosity regions were related not to somatic copy-neutral loss of heterozygosity but to consanguinity, suggesting that homologous recombination is not a common progression mechanism in FA.
Journal ArticleDOI
Vemurafenib for Refractory Multisystem Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis in Children: An International Observational Study
Jean Donadieu,Islam Amine Larabi,Mathilde Tardieu,Johannes Visser,Caroline Hutter,Elena Sieni,Nabil Kabbara,Mohamed Barkaoui,Jean Miron,François Chalard,Paul Milne,Julien Haroche,Fleur Cohen,Zofia Hélias-Rodzewicz,Nicolas Simon,Mathilde Jehanne,Alexandra Kolenova,Anne Pagnier,Nathalie Aladjidi,Pascale Schneider,Geneviève Plat,Anne Lutun,Anne Sonntagbauer,Thomas Lehrnbecher,Alina Ferster,Viktoria Efremova,Martina Ahlmann,Laurence Blanc,James Nicholson,Anne Lambilliote,Houda Boudiaf,Andrej Lissat,Karel Svojgr,Fanette Bernard,Sarah Elitzur,Michal Golan,Dmitriy Evseev,Michael Maschan,Ahmed Idbaih,Olga Slater,Milen Minkov,Valérie Taly,Matthew Collin,Jean-Claude Alvarez,Jean-François Emile,Sébastien Héritier +45 more
TL;DR: VMF seemed safe and effective in children with refractory BRAFV600E-positive LCH and none of the various empirical therapies used for maintenance could eradicate the BRAFv600E clone.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pancreatoblastoma in childhood: clinical course and therapeutic management of seven patients.
Anne-Sophie Defachelles,E. Martin de Lassalle,Patrick Boutard,Brigitte Nelken,Pascale Schneider,Catherine Patte +5 more
TL;DR: Pancreatoblastoma is a curable tumor and tumor is often unresectable at diagnosis and preoperative chemotherapy is needed to reduce tumor volume, but a regimen that include cisplatin and doxorubicin is suggested.
Journal ArticleDOI
What factors influence the age at diagnosis of hemophilia? Results of the French hemophilia cohort
Hervé Chambost,Valérie Gaboulaud,Brigitte Coatmelec,Anne Rafowicz,Pascale Schneider,Thierry Calvez +5 more
TL;DR: D diagnosis was made earlier than in historic series, but it remained somewhat delayed, and early diagnosis will require efforts in the fields of genetic counseling and specific diagnosis of early bleeding, even without family history, because of the high incidence of de novo hemophilia.
Journal ArticleDOI
Use of recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor to increase chemotherapy dose-intensity : A randomized trial in very high-risk childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia
Gérard Michel,Judith Landman-Parker,Marie-Françoise Auclerc,C. Mathey,Thierry Leblanc,E. Legall,Pierre Bordigoni,Jean-Pierre Lamagnere,F. Demeocq,Yves Perel,Anne Auvrignon,Christian Berthou,F. Bauduer,Brigitte Pautard,Pascale Schneider,Schaison G,Guy Leverger,André Baruchel +17 more
TL;DR: G-CSF can increase CDI in high-risk childhood ALL, but its effects depend on the chemotherapy regimen given before G- CSF administration, and a higher CDI did not improve disease control.
