Journal ArticleDOI

N-benzylcinnamide protects rat cultured cortical neurons from β-amyloid peptide-induced neurotoxicity.

TL;DR: The findings suggest that PT-3 protects neurons from Aβ1-42-induced neurotoxicity through its anti-apoptotic, anti-oxidative, and anti-inflammatory properties with inhibition of JNK and p38 MAPK phosphorylation as the potential underlying mechanism.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anti-HIV-1 and anti-inflammatory lupanes from the leaves, twigs, and resin of Garcinia hanburyi.

TL;DR: Two new lupanes, 2 alpha-acetoxy-3 beta-Hydroxy-19 beta-hydrogen-lup-20(29)-en-28-oic acid (2- acetoxyalphitolic acid) and 2-acet Oxyalphitol acid (3-acetaldehydealphitolics acid) were isolated from the leaves and twigs of GARCINIA HANBURYI and exhibited anti-inflammatory activity in an ethyl phenylpropiol
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and Characterizations of RSPP050-Loaded Polymeric Micelles Using Poly(ethylene glycol)-b-Poly(ε-caprolactone) and Poly(ethylene glycol)-b-Poly(D,L-lactide).

TL;DR: Nanoencapsulation of AG50 could provide a promising development in clinical use for cholangiocarcinoma treatment and in vitro cytotoxicity against HuCTT1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Trichoharzianol, a new antifungal from Trichoderma harzianum F031.

TL;DR: A new decalin derivative, trichoharzianol, together with three known compounds, eujavanicol A, 5-hydroxy-3-hydroxymethyl-2-methyl-7-methoxychromone, and 4,6-dihydroxy-5-methylphthalide, were isolated from Trichoderma harzianum F031.
Journal ArticleDOI

Benzylated phenanthrenes from Eulophi nuda

TL;DR: In this article, further phenanthrene derivatives have been isolated from the tubers of Eulophia nuda, including 9, 10, 10-dihydro-1-(4′-hydroxybenzyl)-4, 7-dimethoxyphenanthrene-2,8-diol.
