Distal pancreatectomy for pancreatic carcinoma in the era of multimodal treatment
TL;DR: The aim of the present study was to assess perioperative and long‐term outcomes of DP for pancreatic adenocarcinoma in the era of multimodal treatment in a major European country.
Journal ArticleDOI
18F-FDOPA PET/CT imaging of insulinoma revisited
Alessio Imperiale,Frederic Sebag,Michel Vix,Frederic Castinetti,Laurence Kessler,François Moreau,Philippe Bachellier,Benjamin Guillet,Izzie Jacques Namer,Olivier Mundler,David Taïeb +10 more
TL;DR: According to the experience, CD administration before 18F-FDOPA injection leads to low residual pancreas activity preserving tumoral uptake with consequent insulinoma detection in more than half of adult patients with HH and more than 70 % of patients with a final diagnosis of insulinoma.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preliminary experience with the hanging maneuver for pancreaticoduodenectomy
Patrick Pessaux,Edoardo Rosso,F. Panaro,Ettore Marzano,Elie Oussoultzoglou,Philippe Bachellier,Daniel Jaeck +6 more
TL;DR: The "hanging maneuver" is a useful and safe technical variant and should be considered in the armamentarium of the pancreatic surgeons in order to achieve negative retroperitoneal margins.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prognostic value of jaundice in patients with gallbladder cancer by the AFC-GBC-2009 study group.
J.-M. Regimbeau,David Fuks,Philippe Bachellier,Y.P. Le Treut,F.-R. Pruvot,Francis Navarro,Laurence Chiche,Olivier Farges +7 more
TL;DR: It is confirmed that jaundice is a poor prognostic factor in patients with gallbladder cancer, however, the presence of jaundICE does not preclude resection, especially in highly selected patients (N0).
Journal ArticleDOI
Three-Dimensional Spheroid Primary Human Hepatocytes in Monoculture and Coculture with Nonparenchymal Cells
Audrey Baze,Céline Parmentier,Delilah F. G. Hendriks,Tracey Hurrell,Bruno Heyd,Philippe Bachellier,Catherine Schuster,Catherine Schuster,Magnus Ingelman-Sundberg,Lysiane Richert +9 more
TL;DR: It is reported that only plateable PHHs aggregate and form compact 3D spheroids with a success rate of 79%, and 96% reproducibility, which achieves the development of a more integrated coculture model system requiring low cell numbers, of particular interest due to the scarcity of human liver NPCs.
