In silico proof of principle of machine learning-based antibody design at unconstrained scale
Rahmad Akbar,Philippe Robert,Cédric R. Weber,Michael Widrich,Frank R,Milena Pavlović,Lonneke Scheffer,Maria Chernigovskaya,Igor Snapkov,Andrei Slabodkin,Brij Bhushan Mehta,Enkelejda Miho,Fridtjof Lund-Johansen,Andersen Jt,Andersen Jt,Sepp Hochreiter,Ingrid Hobæk Haff,Günter Klambauer,Geir Kjetil Sandve,Greiff +19 more
TL;DR: Vardef et al. as discussed by the authors leveraged a lattice-based antibody-antigen binding simulation framework, which incorporates a wide range of physiological antibody binding parameters, and found that a deep generative model, trained exclusively on antibody sequence (1D) data can be used to design native-like conformational (3D) epitope-specific antibodies, matching or exceeding the training dataset in affinity and developability variety.
Journal ArticleDOI
Germinal Centre Shutdown.
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors focus on an important but unanswered question, what causes the natural termination of the GC reaction? In murine experiments, lack of antigen, absence or constitutive T cell help leads to premature termination of GC reaction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Journal ArticleDOI
Fish allergy: in Cyp c1 we trust
TL;DR: The case of a girl, clinically diagnosed with fish allergy and whose only positive IgEbinding test was sensitization to rCyp c1, which is a recombinant carp betaparvalbumin, the major fish allergen, extensively cross-reacting among most species is reported, the first case of isolated rCym c1 sensitization.
