Journal ArticleDOI
On the asymptotic theory of rank order tests for experiments involving paired comparisons
TL;DR: In this article, a new approach to the asymptotic theory of rank order tests for the problem of testing the hypothesis of no difference among several treatments for the case when the comparisons between the treatments is possible only in pairs has been developed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of diagonal symmetry: location unknown, and a test based on allied U-processes
TL;DR: In this article, a characterization of (diagonal) symmetry is made with respect to a kernel of degree 2; this is incorporated in the formulation of appropriate U-processes that provide the access to a suitable test statistic for testing the hypothesis of diagonal symmetry when the location is treated as unknown.
Journal ArticleDOI
Some Non-Parametric Tests for the Bivariate Two-Sample Association Problem
Journal ArticleDOI
Bias-Corrected Estimator of Factor Loadings in Bayesian Factor Analysis:
Kentaro Hayashi,Pranab Kumar Sen +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a bias-corrected estimator of factor loadings in the Bayesian factor analysis is proposed and their properties studied; a simulation study reveals a more favorable picture.
