Overexpressed Cyclin D1 and CDK4 proteins are responsible for the resistance to CDK4/6 inhibitor in breast cancer that can be reversed by PI3K/mTOR inhibitors

TL;DR: It is suggested that overexpressed Cyclin D1 and CDK4 proteins lead to the resistance toCDK4/6 inhibitor and PI3K/mTOR inhibitors are able to restore the sensitivity to CDK 4/6 inhibitors, which provides the biomarker and rationale for the combinational use of CDK5/5 inhibitors and PI 3K/ mTOR inhibitors after CDK6/6 inhibition resistance in breast cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Guided mode meta-optics: metasurface-dressed waveguides for arbitrary mode couplers and on-chip OAM emitters with a configurable topological charge

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a comprehensive catalog to selectively and exclusively couple free space light into arbitrary high-order waveguide modes of interest, leveraging silicon metasurface-patterned silicon nitride waveguides.
Journal ArticleDOI

High-sensitivity methane sensor composed of photonic quasi-crystal fiber based on surface plasmon resonance.

TL;DR: In this paper, a photonic quasi-crystal fiber (PQF) methane sensor based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) was designed and described, and the double-side polished six-fold photonic quasicrystal fiber coated with a silver film produces enhanced SPR effects and sensitivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Three-dimensional simulation of two-phase flow in a complex gallery and telescopic pipe coupled system

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of a telescopic pipe on the two-phase flow details for a marine low-speed diesel engine was investigated. But the authors focused on the influence on the cooling behavior of a marine diesel engine.
