132Te and single-particle density-dependent pairing
N. V. Zamfir,Richard Hughes,R. F. Casten,D. C. Radford,C. J. Barton,C. Baktash,Mark A. Caprio,A. Galindo-Uribarri,Carl J Gross,Paul Hausladen,E. A. McCutchan,J. J. Ressler,Dan Shapira,Daniel W Stracener,Chang-Hong Yu +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a number of newly identified, likely 2+ states allows for a test of recent quasiparticle random phase approximation calculations with a density-dependent pairing force.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
0+ states in the large boson number limit of the Interacting Boson Approximation model
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the energies of 0-n−+ states grow linearly with their ordinal number n in all three limiting symmetries of IBA [U(5), SU(3), and O(6], and that the narrow transition region separating the symmetry triangle of the IBA into a spherical and a deformed region is described quite well.

What can we learn from the Interacting Boson Model in the limit of large boson numbers
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that in all of the three limiting symmetries of the IBA [U(5), SU(3), and O(6)], energies of 0+ states grow linearly with their ordinal number.
Journal ArticleDOI
β decay spectroscopy of light Nd isotopes
E. A. McCutchan,E. A. McCutchan,R. F. Casten,V. Werner,R. J. Casperson,Andreas Martin Heinz,J. Qian,B. Shoraka,B. Shoraka,J. R. Terry,Elizabeth Williams,R. Winkler +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the level spins and multipole mixing ratios of transitions were determined through an angular correlation analysis, and a new excited 0+ state was identified and in 134Nd the level scheme was significantly extended.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Cadmium mass measurements between the neutron shell closures at N = 50 and 82
Ch. Borgmann,M. Breitenfeldt,G. Audi,S. Baruah,D. Beck,Klaus Blaum,Ch. Böhm,R. B. Cakirli,R. F. Casten,P. Delahaye,M. Dworschak,Sebastian George,Frank Herfurth,Alexander Herlert,Alban Kellerbauer,Magda Kowalska,Susanne Kreim,D. Lunney,E. Minaya‐Ramirez,S. Naimi,D. Neidherr,Marco Rosenbusch,R. Savreux,Stefan Schwarz,Lutz Schweikhard,C. Yazidjian +25 more
TL;DR: In this article, the mass values of the neutron deficient cadmium isotopes 99−109Cd and the neutron rich isotopes 114,120,122,124,126,128Cd have been measured using ISOLTRAP.
