Journal ArticleDOI
Generation of high-affinity human antibodies by combining donor-derived and synthetic complementarity-determining-region diversity
Rene Hoet,Edward H. Cohen,Rachel Baribault Kent,Kristin L. Rookey,Sonia Schoonbroodt,Shannon Hogan,Louise Rem,Nicolas Frans,Marc Daukandt,Henk Pieters,Rob van Hegelsom,Nicole Coolen-van Neer,Nastri Horacio G,Isaac J. Rondon,Jennifer A. Leeds,Simon E. Hufton,Lili Huang,Irina Kashin,Mary Devlin,Guannan Kuang,Mieke Steukers,Malini Viswanathan,Andrew E. Nixon,Daniel J. Sexton,Hennie R. Hoogenboom,Robert Charles Ladner +25 more
TL;DR: The construction of human Fab libraries having a unique combination of immunoglobulin sequences captured from human donors and synthetic diversity in key antigen contact sites in heavy-chain complementarity-determining regions 1 and 2 are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Therapeutic peptides: technological advances driving peptides into development
TL;DR: A series of new technologies have recently been developed that allow peptides to be viable drug candidates in areas usually restricted to protein therapeutics, such as monoclonal antibodies, and have helped to improve peptide stability and further their therapeutic potential.
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel Peptide Inhibitors of Angiotensin-converting Enzyme 2 *
Lili Huang,Daniel J. Sexton,Kirsten Skogerson,Mary Devlin,Rodger Smith,Indra Sanyal,Tom J. Parry,Rachel Baribault Kent,Jasmin Enright,Qi-Long Wu,Greg Conley,Daniel B. DeOliveira,Lee A. Morganelli,Matthew D. Ducar,Charles R. Wescott,Robert Charles Ladner +15 more
TL;DR: The discovery of ACE2 peptide inhibitors through selection of constrained peptide libraries displayed on phage demonstrates that library selection by phage display technology can be a rapid and efficient way to discover potent and specific protease inhibitors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of mammalian serum albumin affinity purification media by peptide phage display.
Aaron K. Sato,Daniel J. Sexton,Lee A. Morganelli,Edward H. Cohen,Qi Long Wu,Greg Conley,Zoya Streltsova,Stan W. Lee,Mary Devlin,Daniel B. DeOliveira,Jasmin Enright,Rachel Baribault Kent,Charles R. Wescott,Tom C. Ransohoff,Arthur C. Ley,Robert Charles Ladner +15 more
TL;DR: Several phage isolates that bind specifically to human serum albumin were isolated from disulfide‐constrained cyclic peptide phage‐display libraries and one of the highest affinity peptides, DX‐236, also bound well to several mammalian serum albumins (SA).
Patent
Cd44-binding ligands
TL;DR: In this article, the CD44-binding proteins, including CD44 binding antibodies, antibody fragments, and pharmaceutical compositions thereof, as well as nucleic acids, recombinant expression vectors and host cells for making such proteins are described.
