TL;DR: It is demonstrated that Bethesda categories 1–4 are associated with a higher ROM compared to the first edition of TBSRTC, especially in male patients, and validate findings from the second edition.

TL;DR: Targeting subgroups of men at risk for infection who once tested negative could improve yield of testing programs, and improving partner testing, frequency of testing, outreach and educational strategies, and availability of HIV testing where men are accessing routine health services are targeted.
