Journal ArticleDOI
The improvement of movement and speech during rapid eye movement sleep behaviour disorder in multiple system atrophy
Valérie Cochen De Cock,Rachel Debs,Delphine Oudiette,Smaranda Leu,Fatai Radji,Michel Tiberge,Huan Yu,Huan Yu,Sophie Bayard,Emmanuel Roze,Marie Vidailhet,Yves Dauvilliers,Olivier Rascol,Isabelle Arnulf +13 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that parkinsonism also disappears during rapid eye movement sleep behaviour disorder in patients with multiple system atrophy, but this improvement is not due to enhanced dopamine transmission because these patients are not levodopa-sensitive.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hallucinations in narcolepsy with and without cataplexy: Contrasts with Parkinson’s disease
Smaranda Leu-Semenescu,Valérie Cochen De Cock,Valerie Dauriac Le Masson,Rachel Debs,Sophie Lavault,Emmanuel Roze,Marie Vidailhet,Isabelle Arnulf +7 more
TL;DR: The high frequency of hallucinations in narcolepsy with cataplexy suggests that complete (more than partial) hypocretin-1 deficiency promotes hallucinations and could transiently impair the patients' insight.
Journal ArticleDOI
New insights into orthostatic hypotension in multiple system atrophy: a European multicentre cohort study.
A. Pavy-Le Traon,A Piedvache,Santiago Perez-Lloret,Santiago Perez-Lloret,Giovanna Calandra-Buonaura,V Cochen-De Cock,Cesare Colosimo,Pietro Cortelli,Rachel Debs,Susanne Duerr,Alessandra Fanciulli,Alexandra Foubert-Samier,Alexandra Foubert-Samier,Angélique Gerdelat,Tanya Gurevich,Florian Krismer,Werner Poewe,François Tison,François Tison,Christine Tranchant,Gregor K. Wenning,O. Rascol,Wassilios G. Meissner,Wassilios G. Meissner +23 more
TL;DR: The data suggest that the sensitivity to pick up OH increases substantially by a prolonged 10 min orthostatic challenge, which will help to improve OH management and the design of future clinical trials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Assessment of the Scopa-Aut questionnaire in multiple system atrophy: relation to UMSARS scores and progression over time.
Nathalie Damon-Perrière,Alexandra Foubert-Samier,Valérie Cochen De Cock,Angélique Gerdelat-Mas,Rachel Debs,Anne Pavy-Le Traon,Jean-Michel Senard,Olivier Rascol,Olivier Rascol,François Tison,Wassilios G. Meissner +10 more
TL;DR: Scopa-Aut can be used as a simple auto-questionnaire for the screening of autonomic symptoms in multiple system atrophy but seems not useful as endpoint for disease-modification or neuroprotection trials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Assessment of quality of life with the multiple system atrophy health‐related quality of life scale
Wassilios G. Meissner,Alexandra Foubert-Samier,Sandrine Dupouy,Angélique Gerdelat-Mas,Rachel Debs,Fabienne Marquant,Valérie Cochen De Cock,Olivier Rascol,François Tison,Anne Pavy-Le Traon +9 more
TL;DR: The aim of this study was to prospectively evaluate Hr‐QoL by using the MSA health‐related Quality of Life (MSA‐QOL) scale.
