Journal ArticleDOI

Ultrasonic properties at the nanoscale in some metals

TL;DR: In this article, the ultrasonic attenuation, velocity and their related parameters are evaluated in nanocrystalline Pt and Pd metals as a function of their size at 300 K along, and orientations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Non-functionalized Au nanoparticles can act as high-performing humidity sensor

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors synthesized gold nanoparticles via a rapid chemical route by reducing chloroauric acid by trisodium citrate, and an impedance-based humidity sensor device was fabricated for depositing these gold particles in their nonfunctionalized state and the sensor revealed fast response time of 54 seconds, high stability and repeatability, and impressive average sensitivity of 7.57 MΩ/% RH within the humidity range of 10-95%.
Journal ArticleDOI

High dielectric response of 2D-polyaniline nanoflake based epoxy nanocomposites

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of two dimensional, flake-like nanostructures of polyaniline and their nanocomposites in an epoxy matrix with different particle loadings was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Temperature Dependent Heat Transfer Performance of Multi-walled Carbon Nanotube-based Aqueous Nanofluids at Very Low Particle Loadings

TL;DR: In this paper, aqueous suspensions of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs + deionised water) were synthesized by chemical vapour deposition (CVD).
Journal ArticleDOI

Non-destructive Evaluations of Gallium Nitride Nanowires

TL;DR: In this article, the second and third order elastic constants of GaN nanowires at room temperature validating the interaction potential model were calculated using the non-linear elastic constants for different diameters (97-nm -160-nm) of the wires at the nanoscale.
