Journal ArticleDOI
Inhibition of transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1) channel regulates chikungunya virus infection in macrophages
P. Sanjai Kumar,Tapas Kumar Nayak,Tapas Kumar Nayak,Chandan Mahish,S. Sahoo,Anukrishna Radhakrishnan,Saikat De,Ankita Datey,Ram Prasad Sahu,Chandan Goswami,Soma Chattopadhyay,Subhasis Chattopadhyay +11 more
TL;DR: It was found that CHIKV infection upregulates TRPV1 expression in macrophages, and it was demonstrated by Ca 2+ imaging that TRpV1 regulates Ca 2-permeable ion channel influx during CHikV infection.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bio-extract amalgamated sodium alginate-cellulose nanofibres based 3D-sponges with interpenetrating BioPU coating as potential wound care scaffolds.
Chandravati Yadav,Chandravati Yadav,Monika Chhajed,Priyanka Choudhury,Ram Prasad Sahu,Amit Patel,Saurabh Chawla,Luna Goswami,Chandan Goswami,Xinping Li,Ashish Agrawal,Arun Saini,Pradip K. Maji +12 more
TL;DR: The initial observations revealed the credibility of these sponges as functional wound care scaffolds as well as its diverse potential as a suitable substrate for various tissue engineering applications.
Journal ArticleDOI
Olmsted syndrome causing point mutants of TRPV3 (G568C and G568D) show defects in intracellular Ca2+-mobilization and induce lysosomal defects.
TL;DR: In this article , two point mutations (G568C and G568D) located at the lipid-water interface region joining TM4 with the loop4 of TRPV3 cause reduced cell size and major defects in lysosomal numbers, and distribution.
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel Levilactobacillus brevis-based formulation for controlling cell proliferation, cell migration and gut dysbiosis
Sachin Mahanta,Xi Shen,Monica Prusty,P.S. Sivakumar,Deepak Mishra,Ram Prasad Sahu,Chandan Goswami,Saurabh Chawla,Luna Goswami,Selvakumar Elangovan,Sandeep Panda +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors formulated a novel Levilactobacillus brevis enriched nutraceutical and studied its functional property in vitro in cancer cell lines and in vivo in Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium infected mouse model.
