Platinum-osmium cluster complexes from the addition of Pt(PBut3) groups to Os3(CO)12.

TL;DR: Three new compounds, PtOs(3)(CO)(12)(PBu(t)(3)) (10), Pt(2)Os (3)( CO)(12) (2) (11), and Pt(3)Os(1) (3) (12), have been obtained from the reaction of Pt(PBu (t)(t) with Os( 3)(CO) (9).
Journal ArticleDOI

Cluster synthesis. 32. Hydrogen-rich metal cluster complexes from the reaction of octadecacarbonyltetraosmiumdiplatinum with hydrogen. Synthesis and molecular structures of PtOs5(CO)16(.mu.-H)6, Pt2Os5(CO)17(.mu.-H)6, PtOs6(CO)18(.mu.-H)8, and Pt2Os7(CO)23(.mu.-H)8

TL;DR: From the reaction of Pt 2 Os 4 (CO) 18 with hydrogen at 25°C/100 atm, four new hydrogen-rich platinum osmium carbonyl cluster complexes were obtained as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cluster synthesis. 30. New platinum-osmium carbonyl cluster complexes from the reaction of Os3(CO)10(NCMe)2 with bis(cyclooctadiene)platinum

TL;DR: In this paper, two new platinum-osmium carbonyl cluster complexes, Pt 2 Os 3 (CO) 10 (COD) 2 and PtO 3 CO 8 H 11 ) (μ-H) were obtained from the reaction of Os 3 CO 10 (NCMe) 2 with Pt(COD 2) 2 at 25°C.
Journal ArticleDOI

Syntheses and Reactivity of Organohletallic Cohlpounds Containing Ihlinoacyl Ligands. Reactions of Hletal Carbonyl Anions with Ihlidoyl Halides

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors showed that weakly nucleophilic anions such as tetracarbonylcobaltate induce a head-to-tail coupling reaction of two imidoyl groupings via the incorporation of two anions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reactions of thioethers with Mn(2)(CO)(7)(mu-S(2)) proceed with CO displacement and insertion of the sulfur atom into the Mn-Mn bond.

TL;DR: Compounds 3, 5, and 7 have similar structures in which the thioether ligand has replaced the bridging carbonyl ligand of 2 and its sulfur atom has been inserted into the manganese-manganese bond.
