Journal ArticleDOI
Photoreversible multiple additions of hydrogen to a highly unsaturated platinum-rhenium cluster complex.
TL;DR: The electronic structures of 1-4 were investigated by DFT calculations and suggested some mechanisms for the activation of hydrogen at multicenter metal sites without ligand eliminations prior to the hydrogen additions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clusters in catalysis. High reactivity in an electron-rich cluster with weak metal-metal bonds. Facile, reversible addition of carbon monoxide to Os4(CO)12(μ3-S)2

Journal ArticleDOI
New Rhenium--Tin Cluster Adds Palladium Phosphine Groups across Re--Sn Bonds
TL;DR: Fenske-Hall molecular orbital calculations on 1 and 2 have been performed to explain the metal-metal bonding in these unusual mixed-metal polynuclear metal complexes.
