Journal ArticleDOI
Intramolecular ligand scrambling via bridged transition states or intermediates in di(pentahapto-cyclopentadienyl)(methyl isocyanide)(pentacarbonyl)dimolybdenum
Journal ArticleDOI
High nuclearity ruthenium-tin clusters from the reactions of triphenylstannane with pentaruthenium carbonyl carbido cluster complexes.
TL;DR: The reaction of Ru(5)(CO)(15)(mu(5)-C), 1, with Ph(3)SnH in the presence of UV irradiation has yielded the Ph(4)-SnH adduct Ru(7)-C)(mu-H), 3, by SnH bond activation and cleavage of one Ru-Ru bond in the cluster of 1.
Journal ArticleDOI
Remarkable dynamical opening and closing of platinum and palladium pentaruthenium carbido carbonyl cluster complexes.
TL;DR: The reaction of Ru(5)(CO)(15)(mu(5)-C), 1, with Pt(PBu(t)(3))(2) at room temperature yielded the mixed-metal cluster complex PtRu(5), 2, in 52% yield, and the reaction of Pd(Pbu(t)3) with compound 1 yielded two new cluster complexes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Revised Structures of N-Substituted Dibrominated Pyrrole Derivatives and Their Polymeric Products. Termaleimide Models with Low Optical Band Gaps.

TL;DR: An unexpected rearrangement/oxidation of N-substituted 2,5-dibromopyrroles upon treatment with HNO(3) is described, suggesting that nucleophiles likely move the canted structure more toward a planar form via addition to the alpha,beta-unsaturated carbonyl units.
