Potential of field turbidity measurements for computation of total suspended solid in Tasik Kenyir, Terengganu, Malaysia
Mohd Khairul Amri Kamarudin,Noorjima Abd Wahab,Mohd Armi Abu Samah,Nor Bakhiah Baharim,Roslanzairi Mostapa,Roslan Umar,Khairul Nizam Abdul Maulud,Mohd Hariri Arifin,Muhammad Hafiz Md Saad,Siti Nor Aisyah Md Bati +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated whether turbidity could produce a satisfactory estimate of TSS in urbanizing at the Tasik Kenyir catchment, and the results strongly suggest that turbidity is a suitable monitoring parameter where water-quality conditions must be evaluated.
Journal ArticleDOI
The influence of solar radiation on radio signal at UHF band
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of solar radiation on radio signal at ultra-high frequency (UHF) band is investigated, where the average radio frequencies found at UHF band were ǫ382.5 Â MHz, ǒ 945.0 ÂMHz, 1800.0 ÞMHz, 1867.5 Þ MHz, 2137.5 ¼ Â
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Humidity on Tropospheric Received Signal Strength (RSS) in Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) Band

Journal ArticleDOI
Implementation of Frequency Drift for Identification of Solar Radio Burst Type II
Nur Zulaikha Mohd Afandi,Zamri Zainal Abidin,Roslan Umar,Nor Hazmin Sabri,Zainol Abidin Ibrahim,Christian Monstein +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a new algorithm to automatically classify solar radio burst Type II and III using MATLAB and the value of frequency drift was used as the main idea in this auto classify algorithm.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preliminary study of radio astronomical lines effect of rain below 2.9 ghz
Roslan Umar,Nor Hazmin Sabri,Zamri Zainal Abidin,Zainol Abidin Ibrahim,Azman Azid,Hafizan Juahir,Mohd Ekhwan Toriman,Mohd Khairul Amri Kamarudin +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have reported one of the factors that affect radio observation which is rain effect and found that there is very small fluctuate value are very small (about -2 dB) for outside observation and it can be considered has no significant effect on rain below 2.9 GHz.
