Journal ArticleDOI
Giant magneto-optical responses in magnetic Weyl semimetal Co3Sn2S2
Y. Okamura,Susumu Minami,Yoshinobu Kato,Yukako Fujishiro,Yoshio Kaneko,J. Ikeda,J. Muramoto,Ryoma Kaneko,Kazuo Ueda,Vilmos Kocsis,Naoya Kanazawa,Yasujiro Taguchi,Takashi Koretsune,Kohei Fujiwara,Atsushi Tsukazaki,Ryotaro Arita,Yoshinori Tokura,Youtarou Takahashi +17 more
TL;DR: The terahertz Faraday and infrared Kerr rotations are found to be remarkably enhanced by these resonances with topological electronic structures, demonstrating the novel low-energy optical response inherent to the magnetic WSM.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spontaneous Hall effect in the Weyl semimetal candidate of all-in all-out pyrochlore iridate.
Kentaro Ueda,Ryoma Kaneko,Hiroaki Ishizuka,Jun Fujioka,Jun Fujioka,Naoto Nagaosa,Naoto Nagaosa,Yoshinori Tokura,Yoshinori Tokura +8 more
TL;DR: Experimental observations are presented proving that the pyrochlore iridate, when electronically tuned, can be a topological Weyl semimetal as predicted by recent theories, and the manifestation of the salient Hall response provides one important example of topological states, which promotes a better understanding of WeylSemimetal and indicates the new research direction for the topological-materials design.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic-field induced multiple topological phases in pyrochlore iridates with Mott criticality.
Kentaro Ueda,Taekoo Oh,Bohm-Jung Yang,Ryoma Kaneko,Jun Fujioka,Jun Fujioka,Naoto Nagaosa,Naoto Nagaosa,Yoshinori Tokura,Yoshinori Tokura +9 more
TL;DR: The observed properties can be identified to reflect the emergence of multiple Weyl semimetal states with varying numbers of Weyl points and line nodes in respective spin configurations, which may open a promising venue for topological phenomena and functions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced thermopower in the correlated semimetallic phase of hole-doped pyrochlore iridates
Journal ArticleDOI
Phonon anomalies in pyrochlore iridates studied by Raman spectroscopy
Kentaro Ueda,Ryoma Kaneko,Alaska Subedi,Matteo Minola,Bumjoon Kim,Bumjoon Kim,Jun Fujioka,Jun Fujioka,Y. Tokura,Y. Tokura,Bernhard Keimer +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, polarization-resolved Raman scattering measurements on single crystals of the pyrochlore compound were reported, which exhibited a ground state with noncollinear magnetic order, as well as its paramagnetic counterpart.
