Magnetoelectric resonance with electromagnons in a perovskite helimagnet

TL;DR: In this article, the identification of electromagnons in a perovskite helimagent may be useful in the development of ways to manipulate light, as shown in Figure 1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Terahertz spectroscopy on Faraday and Kerr rotations in a quantum anomalous Hall state

TL;DR: The experimental indication of the topological magnetoelectric effect is reported, which is exemplified by magneto-optical Faraday and Kerr rotations in the quantum anomalous Hall states of magnetic topological insulator surfaces by terahertz magnets.
Journal ArticleDOI

L10 ordering of off-stoichiometric FePt (001) thin films at reduced temperature

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of extensive compositional change on the structure and magnetic properties of FePt sputtered films deposited at a substrate temperature of 300 °C was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Variation of Charge Dynamics in the Course of Metal-Insulator Transition for Pyrochlore-Type Nd 2 Ir 2 O 7

TL;DR: Spectroscopically investigated the thermally and doping-induced metal-insulator transitions for pyrochlore-type Nd2Ir2O7 as well as its Rh-doped analogs Nd 2(Ir(1-x)Rh(x))(2)O(7), where the spin-orbit interaction aswell as the electron correlation is effectively tuned by the doping level.
Journal ArticleDOI

Giant magneto-optical responses in magnetic Weyl semimetal Co3Sn2S2

TL;DR: The terahertz Faraday and infrared Kerr rotations are found to be remarkably enhanced by these resonances with topological electronic structures, demonstrating the novel low-energy optical response inherent to the magnetic WSM.
