Transition phase towards psoriatic arthritis: clinical and ultrasonographic characterisation of psoriatic arthralgia.
Alen Zabotti,Dennis McGonagle,Ivan Giovannini,Enzo Errichetti,F. Zuliani,Anna Zanetti,Ilaria Tinazzi,Orazio De Lucia,Alberto Batticciotto,Luca Idolazzi,Garifallia Sakellariou,Sara Zandonella Callegher,S. Sacco,Luca Quartuccio,Annamaria Iagnocco,Salvatore De Vita +15 more
TL;DR: Baseline US evidence of enthesitis was associated with clinical PsA development in the longitudinal analysis, and these findings are relevant for enriching for subjects at risk of imminent PsAdevelopment.

TL;DR: Patients with early and late disease onset constitute a significant proportion of primary Sjögren’s syndrome population with distinct clinical phenotypes, and possess a higher prevalence of lymphoma, with different predisposing factors and lymphoma distribution across time.
Journal Article
The evaluation of disease activity in Sjögren's syndrome based on the degree of MALT involvement: glandular swelling and cryoglobulinaemia compared to ESSDAI in a cohort study.
TL;DR: Investigating if indicators of a heavier involvement of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) in primary Sjögren's syndrome (pSS), i.e. persistent salivary gland (SG) swelling and cryoglobulinaemia, might better evaluate the lymphoma risk compared to the ESSDAI found this involvement is heavier, and disease activity may be considered higher, and the risk of lymphoma is increased.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sjögren’s Syndrome: The Clinical Spectrum of Male Patients
L. Chatzis,Vasileios C. Pezoulas,Francesco Ferro,Saviana Gandolfo,Valentina Donati,Marco Binutti,Sara Zandonella Callegher,Aliki Venetsanopoulou,Evangelia Zampeli,Maria Mavrommati,Ourania D Argyropoulou,Giorgos Michalopoulos,Paraskevi V. Goules +21 more
TL;DR: Male SS patients carry an increased risk of lymphoma development and data-driven analysis revealed gender and lymphadenopathy as independent lymphoma-associated features.
Journal ArticleDOI
Salivary Gland Ultrasonography in Sjögren's Syndrome: A European Multicenter Reliability Exercise for the HarmonicSS Project
Alen Zabotti,Sara Zandonella Callegher,Annarita Tullio,Arso M. Vukicevic,Alojzija Hočevar,Vera Milic,Giacomo Cafaro,Marina Carotti,Konstantina Delli,Orazio De Lucia,Diana Ernst,Francesco Ferro,Angelica Gattamelata,Giuseppe Germanò,Ivan Giovannini,Daniel Hammenfors,Malin V. TL;DR: The two tested SGUS scores are reliable for the evaluation of major salivary glands in pSS, and even less-expert sonographers could be reliable if adequately instructed.
