Distilling the role of ecosystem services in the Sustainable Development Goals
Sylvia L. R. Wood,Sylvia L. R. Wood,Sarah K. Jones,Sarah K. Jones,Justin A. Johnson,Kate A. Brauman,Rebecca Chaplin-Kramer,Alexander K. Fremier,Evan H. Girvetz,Line Gordon,Carrie V. Kappel,Lisa Mandle,Mark Mulligan,Patrick J. O’Farrell,William K. Smith,Louise Willemen,Wei Zhang,Fabrice DeClerck,Fabrice DeClerck +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present the results of an expert survey on the contributions of 16 ecosystem services to achieving SDG targets linked to environment and human well-being, and review the capacity of modelling tools to evaluate SDG-relevant ecosystem services interactions.

Soppe,Louise Willemen,Slr Wood,Wei Zhang +26 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a framework to operationalize ecosystem services and resilience-based interventions in agricultural landscapes and call for renewed efforts to apply resiliencebased approaches to landscape management challenges and for refocusing ecosystem service research on human well-being outcomes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evidence and future potential of mobile phone data for disease disaster management
TL;DR: It is shown that mobile data holds great potential for improving the quality, quantity and timing of selected information required for disaster management, but that testing and evaluation of the benefits, constraints and limitations of mobile data use in a wider range of mobile-user and disaster contexts is needed to fully understand its utility, validity, and limitations.
Journal ArticleDOI
The role of green infrastructure in climate change adaptation in London
Sarah K. Jones,Carol Somper +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a review of the current literature identifies how and where green infrastructure can deliver climate adaptation services and considers the benefits of taking a green infrastructure (or ecosystems services) approach to development.
Journal ArticleDOI
Insights into the importance of ecosystem services to human well-being in reservoir landscapes
Sarah K. Jones,Sarah K. Jones,Mansour Boundaogo,Fabrice DeClerck,Natalia Estrada-Carmona,Naho Mirumachi,Mark Mulligan +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyse smallholder farmer perceptions of ES, ecosystem disservices, and their importance around community-managed reservoirs in four semi-arid landscapes in West Africa, using participatory mapping, focus groups and face-to-face surveys.
