Journal ArticleDOI

An Inducible Diabetes Mellitus Murine Model Based on MafB Conditional Knockout under MafA-Deficient Condition.

TL;DR: To induce the diabetes mellitus model at a specific time point, Pdx1-dependent Mafb-deletion mice under Mafa knockout condition are generated, via tamoxifen-inducible Cre-loxP system, and results indicate that A0BΔpanc mice can be an efficient inducible model for diabetes research.
Journal ArticleDOI

Use of Endoscopic Scraper and Cell Block Technique as a Replacement for Conventional Brush for Diagnosing Malignant Biliary Strictures

TL;DR: Given its simplicity and greater capacity for sample acquisition, use of the endoscopic scraper in conjunction with the cell block technique could replace brush cytology for the histological diagnosis of malignant biliary strictures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cerebral hemodynamics in arteriovenous aneurysm of the brain measured by the dye-dilution method.

TL;DR: The cerebral hemodynamics was studied in 5 patients with cerebral arteriovenous aneurysms using the nitrous oxide method and the dye-dilution method, and special reference was made to shunted blood flow.
Journal ArticleDOI

The conserved metalloprotease invadolysin is present in invertebrate haemolymph and vertebrate blood.

TL;DR: It is shown that the conserved metalloprotease invadolysin is present in invertebrate hemolymph and vertebrate blood, suggesting the protein may function in organismal physiology.
