Total Synthesis of the Trehalase Inhibitors Trehalostatin and Trehazolin, and of Their Diastereoisomers. Final Structural Confirmation of the Inhibitor.
TL;DR: This paper showed that the initial structure assigned for trehalostatin is incorrect, and that its structure is identical with that of trehazolin 2 and its diastereoisomer 3.
Journal ArticleDOI
Total Synthesis of the Trehalase Inhibitor Salbostatin.
TL;DR: The total synthesis of trehalase inhibitor salbostatin (1) was achieved starting from the major product (58 % yield) from the coupling of the amine di-O-isopropylidene-α-valienamine and the electrophile 1,5 : 2,3-dianhydro-D-mannitol in 2-propanol as mentioned in this paper.
