TL;DR: In this article, a dual-band ring-resonator bandpass filter with two transmission poles in both passbands is proposed, where two capacitors or parallel-coupled lines are placed at two nonorthogonally excited positions along a ring resonator in order to excite the two first-order degenerate modes and create multiple transmission zeros.

TL;DR: In this paper, a triple-band bandpass filter with two transmission poles in each passband is proposed using three pairs of degenerate modes in a ring resonator, where four open-circuited stubs are attached symmetrically along the ring and they are treated as perturbation elements to split the two second-order degenerate mode, resulting in a two-pole second passband.

A Novel Dual-Mode Dual-Band Bandpass Filter Based on a Single Ring Resonator

TL;DR: In this paper, a dual-mode dual-band bandpass filter with two transmission poles in both passbands using a single ring resonator is proposed, where two excited ports are placed at the 135deg -separated positions along the ring resonators and coupled with the ring via parallel-coupled lines, leading to synchronous excitation of two transmission pole in dual passbands.
