Piezoelectric detection of water with a separated electrode

TL;DR: In this paper, a piezoelectric crystal with separated electrode (PCSE) was used to detect the micro-content of water in organic solvents, and the detection limits were 0.022, 0.013 and 0.010 g/L in acetone, tetrahydrofuran, and dioxane, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of the size of molecularly imprinted polymers sensing materials on piezoelectric quartz crystal sensor performance.

TL;DR: Investigation of the performance of sensors modified with different sizes of MIPs showed that PQC sensor modified with smaller size Mips exhibited better performance and excellent selectivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ion chromatographic determination of calcium and magnesium cations in human saliva and urine with a piezoelectric detector.

TL;DR: In this paper, simultaneous determination of Ca (2+) and Mg(2+) cations in saliva, urine was achieved using an ion chromatography method, in which a piezoelectric quartz crystal (PQC) sensor was used as a detector, and a solution containing tartaric acid (4 mmol 1(-1)) and ethylenediamine (2 mmol 1-1)) as a mobile phase.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Series Piezoelectric Quartz Crystal Microbial Sensing Technique Used for Biochemical Oxygen Demand Assay in Environmental Monitoring

TL;DR: In this paper, a new method for biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) determination, which combines the series piezoelectric quartz crystal (SPQC) technique with the growth of a microorganism is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

A colorimetric and fluorescence sensing platform for two analytes in homogenous solution based on aptamer-modified gold nanoparticles

TL;DR: In this paper, a bifunctional aptasensor was used to detect two targets (PDGF-BB and adenosine) sequentially and selectively in a homogenous solution.
