High-efficiency dye-sensitized solar cell with a novel co-adsorbent

TL;DR: In this article, a new record efficiency (11.4%) of dye-sensitized solar cell was obtained by design and syntheses of donor-acceptor type co-adsorbents which effectively overcome the competitive light absorption by I−/I3−, avoid dye aggregation, and reduce the charge recombination.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly efficient dye-sensitized solar cells: progress and future challenges

TL;DR: In this paper, the major progress of improving the energy conversion efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) which may be useful for future applications is selectively reviewed, and a roadmap of possible future directions of DSCs with the challenges of how to further improve the efficiency to accelerate the progress in the commercialization of DSCs is illustrated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bismuth Incorporation Stabilized α-CsPbI3 for Fully Inorganic Perovskite Solar Cells

TL;DR: In this paper, a compositional engineering approach via incorporating Bi3+ in CsPbI3 to stabilize the α-phase at room temperature was introduced, which achieved a high PCE of 13.21% at an optimal condition (incorporation of 4 mol % Bi3+) and maintain 68% of the initial PCE for 168 h under ambient conditions without encapsulation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lead-free, air-stable ultrathin Cs3Bi2I9 perovskite nanosheets for solar cells

TL;DR: In this paper, a dissolution-recrystallization method was used to fabricate high-quality lead-free Cs3Bi2I9 perovskite nanosheets film and further explore its potential application in solar cells with three different kinds of hole transport materials.
