Journal ArticleDOI
Top-emitting organic light-emitting diodes integrated with thermally evaporated scattering film for reducing angular dependence of emission spectra
TL;DR: In this paper, a scattering film is obtained by thermally evaporating tetraphenylethene (TPE) onto the substrate, and the TPE molecules self-crystallize themselves as microsheet on reaching the substrate.
Journal ArticleDOI
New phosphorescent iridium(III) dipyrrinato complexes: synthesis, emission properties and their deep red to near-infrared OLEDs
Hongyang Zhang,Hongyang Zhang,Haitao Wang,Kevin Tanner,Adrien Schlachter,Zhao Chen,Pierre D. Harvey,Shuming Chen,Wai-Yeung Raymond Wong,Wai-Yeung Raymond Wong +9 more
TL;DR: A series of heteroleptic Ir(III) complexes composed of two cyclometalated C^N ligands and one dipyrrinato ligand used as an ancillary ligand are synthesized and characterized in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tetrafluorinated phenylpyridine based heteroleptic iridium(III) complexes for efficient sky blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes
Zhao Chen,Zhao Chen,Songwut Suramitr,Nianyong Zhu,Cheuk Lam Ho,Supa Hannongbua,Shuming Chen,Wai Yeung Wong,Wai Yeung Wong +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, tetrafluorinated 2-phenylpyridine (F4ppy) was employed as a cyclometalated ligand to stabilize the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) of iridium(III) complex.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, aggregation-induced emission and electroluminescence properties of three new phenylethylene derivatives comprising carbazole and (dimesitylboranyl)phenyl groups
Heping Shi,Heping Shi,Xinlei Zhang,Chen Gui,Shujuan Wang,Li Fang,Zujin Zhao,Shuming Chen,Ben Zhong Tang,Ben Zhong Tang +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, three phenylethene derivatives, 3-(4-(dimesitylboryl)phenyl)-6-(1,2,2-triphenylvinyl)-9-ethyl-9H-carbazole (DBPTECZ), 3-( 4-dimentional lboryl)-phenyl), 6-(1-2-diphenyl-vinyl), 9-ethyl-, 9-hexyl-9-hexethyl-, carbazole(DBPDPECZ) and 3-(1-(4-
