High resolution melting real-time PCR detect and identify filarial parasites in domestic cats
Darawan Nonsaithong,Supit Yotmek,Somsri Yotmek,Hathai Nochote,Sirichit Wongkamchai,Sittiruk Roytrakul,Usa Lek-Uthai +6 more
TL;DR: This HRM RT-PCR method is able to diagnose, identify and discriminate filarial parasites collected from DBS, which is simple and inexpensive compared with other probe-based genotyping methods, and useful to survey, prevent and control filariasis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of hydrochloric acid extraction on yield and gel properties of gelatine from salted jellyfish by-products
Wiriya Charoenchokpanich,Pratchaya Muangrod,Vilai Rungsardthong,Savitri Vatanyoopaisarn,Benjamaporn Wonganu,Sittiruk Roytrakul,Benjawan Thumthanaruk +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of HCl pre-treatment on the gel quality of resultant gelatine was investigated, and it was shown that the gel strength generally decreased as HCl concentration increased.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of the Serum Peptidomics Profile for Cats With Sarcomeric Gene Mutation and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.
Pratch Sukumolanan,Narumon Phanakrop,Siriwan Thaisakun,Sittiruk Roytrakul,Soontaree Petchdee +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a study aimed to classify peptide patterns in serum samples between cats with sarcomeric gene mutations and normal cats, and showed that peptide expression profiling showed an association with three peptides, Cytochrome 3a132 (CYP3A132), forkhead box O1 (FOXO1), and ArfGAP, with GTPase domains, ankyrin repeats, and PH domain 2 (AGAP2).
Journal ArticleDOI
Proteomic Response of Aedes aegypti Larvae to Silver/Silver Chloride Nanoparticles Synthesized Using Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. israelensis Metabolites
Nantipat Chimkhan,Sutticha Na-Ranong Thammasittirong,Sittiruk Roytrakul,Sucheewin Krobthong,Anon Thammasittirong +4 more
TL;DR: The results showed that the six upregulated proteins in A. aegypti larvae responsible for green synthesized Ag/AgCl NP treatment were involved in mitochondrial dysfunction, DNA and protein damage, inhibition of cell proliferation, and cell apoptosis, implying the modes of actions of Ag/ AgCl NPs.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Proteomics and Metabolomics Analysis for Screening the Molecular Targets of Action of β-Eudesmol in Cholangiocarcinoma.
Kanawut Kotawong,Wanna Chajaroenkul,Wanna Chajaroenkul,Sittiruk Roytrakul,Narumon Phaonakrop,Kesara Na-Bangchang,Kesara Na-Bangchang +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, β-eudesmol is the active compound isolated from Atractylodes lancea (Thunb) D. The actions of this compound against cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) cells include anti-angiogenesis and anti-cell proliferation and growth.
