Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of rice Os4BGlu13 as a β-glucosidase which hydrolyzes gibberellin A4 1-O-β-d-glucosyl ester, in addition to tuberonic acid glucoside and salicylic acid derivative glucosides.
Yanling Hua,Watsamon Ekkhara,Sompong Sansenya,Chantragan Srisomsap,Sittiruk Roytrakul,Wataru Saburi,Ryosuke Takeda,Hideyuki Matsuura,Haruhide Mori,James R. Ketudat Cairns,James R. Ketudat Cairns +10 more
TL;DR: The enzymatic data suggests that Os4BGlu13 may contribute to TAG, SAG, oligosaccharide and GA4-GE hydrolysis in the rice plant, although helicin or a similar compound may be its primary target.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metabolomic study of stress responses leading to plant resistance in mandarin fruit mediated by preventive applications of Bacillus subtilis cyclic lipopeptides
Paiboon Tunsagool,Xiaohang Wang,Wichitra Leelasuphakul,Warangkana Jutidamrongphan,Narumon Phaonakrop,Janthima Jaresitthikunchai,Sittiruk Roytrakul,Guanqun Chen,Liang Li +8 more
TL;DR: The preventive applications of CLPs showed the greatest effect with many up-regulated metabolite changes in fruit tissues, including two important secondary metabolites, serotonin and tyramine, which were reported to stimulate plant defensive system during stress.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of cellular proteome changes in response to ZIKV NS2B-NS3 protease expression
TL;DR: Two proteins are identified, PDIA3 an ALDOA whose expression is modulated by the ZIKV NS2B-NS3 protease, and these proteins are involved in the ER stress response and glycolysis respectively, two critical cellular processes in ZikV infection.

A possible protein model involved in gallium arsenide leaching by Cellulosimicrobium funkei
Sirikan Maneesuwannarat,Kanjana Kudpeng,Yodying Yingchutrakul,Sittiruk Roytrakul,Alisa S. Vangnai,Mitsuo Yamashita,Paitip Thiravetyan +6 more
TL;DR: This study provides the first look at Ga-binding proteins from the supernatant of C. funkei at different pHs using affinity chromatography and LC-MS/MS analysis and the functional group of bacterial proteins involved in Ga- binding were investigated using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.
