In-gel digestion coupled with mass spectrometry (GeLC-MS/MS)-based salivary proteomic profiling of canine oral tumors
Sekkarin Ploypetch,Sittiruk Roytrakul,Narumon Phaonakrop,Suthathip Kittisenachai,Kantinan Leetanasaksakul,Sirinun Pisamai,Chanin Kalpravidh,Anudep Rungsipipat,Gunnaporn Suriyaphol +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the salivary proteome of dogs with early and late stage oral melanoma (EOM and LOM, respectively), oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), benign oral tumors (BN), and periodontitis and healthy controls (CP), using an in-gel digestion coupled with mass spectrometry (GeLC-MS/MS).
Journal ArticleDOI
Endothelial Progenitor Cell Migration-Enhancing Factors in the Secretome of Placental-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells
Witchayaporn Kamprom,Pakpoom Kheolamai,Yaowalak U-Pratya,Aungkura Supokawej,Methichit Wattanapanitch,Chuti Laowtammathron,Sittiruk Roytrakul,Surapol Issaragrisil +7 more
TL;DR: This study studied the secretome profile of gestational tissue-derived MSCs and their effects on functions of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs), another angiogenic cell type that plays an important role during the neovascularization.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nevirapine induces apoptosis in liver (HepG2) cells
Jeerang Wongtrakul,Atchara Paemanee,Phitchayapak Wintachai,Chutima Thepparit,Sittiruk Roytrakul,Thananya Thongtan,Kanokwan Janphen,Khuanchai Supparatpinyo,Duncan R. Smith +8 more
TL;DR: There is a clear induction of apoptosis in response to NVP which suggests that NVP has significant cytotoxicity, over and above any cytot toxicity of metabolites and may contribute directly to patient hepatotoxicity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gigantol Targets MYC for Ubiquitin-proteasomal Degradation and Suppresses Lung Cancer Cell Growth.
TL;DR: Gigantol was found to inhibit lung cancer proliferation through induction of GSK3β-mediated MYC ubiquitin-proteasome degradation and data suggest gigantol to be a promising candidate for novel strategy in inhibition of lung cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Serum coiled-coil domain containing 25 protein as a potential screening/diagnostic biomarker for cholangiocarcinoma.
Ravinnipa Chanakankun,Tanakorn Proungvitaya,Daraporn Chua‑On,Temduang Limpaiboon,Sittiruk Roytrakul,Apinya Jusakul,Attapol Titapun,Apiwat Jarearnrat,Siriporn Proungvitaya +8 more
TL;DR: Serum CCDC25 level may be a promising screening and diagnostic marker for the differential diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) tissues compared with adjacent normal tissues and among patients with CCA.
