Journal ArticleDOI

Safety and immunogenicity of ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccine administered in a prime-boost regimen in young and old adults (COV002): a single-blind, randomised, controlled, phase 2/3 trial.

TL;DR: The specific objectives of this report were to assess the safety and humoral and cellular immunogenicity of a single-dose and two-dose schedule in adults older than 55 years, and safety, as measured by the occurrence of serious adverse events.
Journal ArticleDOI

Single-dose administration and the influence of the timing of the booster dose on immunogenicity and efficacy of ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 (AZD1222) vaccine: a pooled analysis of four randomised trials.

- 06 Mar 2021 -
TL;DR: The ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 (AZD1222) vaccine has been approved for emergency use by the UK regulatory authority, Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, with a regimen of two standard doses given with an interval of 4-12 weeks as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization and structure of the vaccinia virus NF-κB antagonist A46.

TL;DR: The protein A46 has a similar fold to other vaccinia virus anti-inflammatory proteins but uses a different dimer interface and shows a Bcl-2-like fold but with biologically relevant differences from that of A52.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simian adenovirus vector production for early-phase clinical trials: A simple method applicable to multiple serotypes and using entirely disposable product-contact components.

TL;DR: The development of a GMP compliant process, using single-use stirred-tank bioreactors, a transgene-repressing HEK293 cell – promoter combination, and fully single- use filtration and ion exchange components, which demonstrates applicability of the process to candidate vaccines against rabies, malaria and Rift Valley fever, each based on a different adenovirus serotype.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structure of human dipeptidyl peptidase 10 (DPPY): a modulator of neuronal Kv4 channels

TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal structure of Dipeptidyl peptidase 10 (DPP10) was reported and compared to that of DPP6 and DPP4, and the DPP10 dimer interface was characterized focusing on the alternative approach for designing drugs able to target protein-protein interactions.
