Ulrich,Stefan Unterecker,R. Waschgler,Gerald Zernig,Gabriele Zurek,Pierre Baumann +38 more
TL;DR: Following the new guidelines for therapeutic drug monitoring in psychiatry holds the potential to improve neuropsychopharmacotherapy, accelerate the recovery of many patients, and reduce health care costs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Antidepressant effects of augmentative transcranial magnetic stimulation: randomised multicentre trial.
Uwe Herwig,Andreas J. Fallgatter,Jacqueline Höppner,Gerhard W. Eschweiler,Martina Kron,Göran Hajak,Frank Padberg,Angela Naderi-Heiden,Birgit Abler,Peter Eichhammer,Nicola Grossheinrich,Birgit Hay,Thomas Kammer,Berthold Langguth,Christoph Laske,Christian Plewnia,M.M. Richter,Merten Schulz,Stefan Unterecker,Antonia Zinke,Manfred Spitzer,Carlos Schönfeldt-Lecuona +21 more
TL;DR: The data do not support previous reports from smaller samples indicating an augmenting or accelerating antidepressant effect of rTMS, and further exploration of the possible efficacy of other stimulation protocols or within selected sub-populations of patients is necessary.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reduction of skin innervation is associated with a severe fibromyalgia phenotype
Dimitar Evdokimov,Johanna Frank,Alexander Klitsch,Stefan Unterecker,Bodo Warrings,Jordi Serra,Aikaterini Papagianni,Nadine Saffer,Caren Meyer Zu Altenschildesche,Daniel Kampik,Rayaz A. Malik,Claudia Sommer,Nurcan Üçeyler +12 more
TL;DR: To assess patterns and impact of small nerve fiber dysfunction and pathology in patients with fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS), a large number of patients with FMS are diagnosed with some form of chronic pain.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reduced response-inhibition in obsessive-compulsive disorder measured with topographic evoked potential mapping.
TL;DR: A reduced frontal activity during the NoGo condition in OCD was found, which was condensed in a reduced anteriorisation of the brain electrical field, suggesting that this inhibitory deficit in OCD has a major contribution to the pathophysiology of OCD.
