Elisabeth B. Binder,Daria Salyakina,Peter Lichtner,G. M. Wochnik,Marcus Ising,Benno Pütz,Sergi Papiol,S. R. Seaman,Susanne Lucae,Martin A. Kohli,Thomas Nickel,Heike E. Künzel,B. Fuchs,M. TL;DR: It is proposed that the FKBP5 variant–dependent alterations in HPA-axis regulation could be related to the faster response to antidepressant drug treatment and the increased recurrence of depressive episodes observed in this subgroup of depressed individuals.
Journal ArticleDOI

Christoph Hiemke,Pierre Baumann,Niels Bergemann,Andreas Conca,Otto Dietmaier,Karin Egberts,Miriam Fric,Manfred Gerlach,Christine Greiner,Gerhard Gründer,E Haen,Ursula Havemann-Reinecke,E. Waschgler,Gerald Zernig +26 more
TL;DR: Following guidelines for TDM in psychiatry will help to improve the outcomes of psychopharmacotherapy of many patients especially in case of pharmacokinetic problems, and one should never forget that TDM is an interdisciplinary task that sometimes requires the respectful discussion of apparently discrepant data.
