Journal ArticleDOI

Type III secretion proteins PcrV and PcrG from Pseudomonas aeruginosa form a 1:1 complex through high affinity interactions.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated by native mass spectrometry that PcrV and PcrG expressed and purified from E. coli form a 1:1 complex in vitro, and it is shown that PCrG is highly unstable, however, it associates readily with PCrV through a region located within its first 74 amino acids to form a high affinity complex.
Journal ArticleDOI

Extended interaction network of procollagen C-proteinase enhancer-1 in the extracellular matrix.

TL;DR: The analysis of the PC PE-1 interaction network based on Gene Ontology terms suggests that, besides its role in collagen deposition, PCPE-1 might be involved in tumour growth, neurodegenerative diseases and angiogenesis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Target-Derived Matricryptins Organize Cerebellar Synapse Formation through α3β1 Integrins

TL;DR: It is reported that collagen XVIII and its matricryptin endostatin are generated by cerebellar Purkinje cells and are necessary for the organization of climbing fiber terminals in these neurons andendostatin is sufficient to induce climbing fiber terminal formation in vitro by binding and signaling through α3β1 integrins.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pro-angiogenic capacities of microvesicles produced by skin wound myofibroblasts.

TL;DR: The release of microvesicles by the wound myofibroblasts brings new perspectives to the field of communication between cells during the normal healing process as well as characterize the angiogenic activity of the MVs.
