Journal ArticleDOI
CpG inhibits IgE class switch recombination through suppression of NFκB activity, but not through Id2 or Bcl6
Takashi Kusunoki,Manabu Sugai,Hiroyuki Gonda,Yukiko Nambu,Natsuki Nagata-Nakajima,Tomoya Katakai,Mariko Kusunoki,Akemi Sakamoto,Takeshi Tokuhisa,Tatsutoshi Nakahata,Yoshifumi Yokota,Akira Shimizu +11 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that there is reduced activity of NF kappa B binding to the IgE promoter and a reduction of Irf4 protein in CpG ODN-treated B cells, indicating the critical role of NFKappa B and Irf 4 in the regulation of IgE CSR through actions downstream of CpGs signaling.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enlargement of the globe with ocular malformations in c-Myc transgenic mice.
Kazuki Ishibashi,Hiroyuki Yamamoto,Hiroyuki Yamamoto,Masahiko Hatano,Tamio Koizumi,Misao Yamamoto,Takeshi Tokuhisa +6 more
TL;DR: The buphthalmos and accompanying changes were not due to expression of the exogenous c-myc in cornea and retina but may be the secondary changes of elevated intraocular pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lack of both α2-antiplasmin and plasminogen activator inhibitor type-1 induces high IgE production.
Kiyotaka Okada,Shigeru Ueshima,Naoyuki Kawao,Masato Yano,Yukinori Tamura,Masaki Tanaka,Akemi Sakamoto,Masahiko Hatano,Masafumi Arima,Seiji Miyata,Nobuo Nagai,Takeshi Tokuhisa,Osamu Matsuo +12 more
TL;DR: The simultaneous expression of both the α2-AP and PAI-1 genes contributes to the maintenance of immunological functions that are related to IgE, and it is suggested that both α1 and α2 are involved in the recruitment of lymphocytes in the peripheral tissues.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transcriptional repression of p27 is essential for murine embryonic development.
Youichi Teratake,Chisa Kuga,Yuta Hasegawa,Yoshiharu Sato,Masayasu Kitahashi,Lisa Fujimura,Haruko Watanabe-Takano,Akemi Sakamoto,Masafumi Arima,Takeshi Tokuhisa,Masahiko Hatano +10 more
TL;DR: Nczf knockdown by siRNA resulted in increased expression of p27 in mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs), which suggests that p27 repression by Nczf is essential in the developing embryo.
Journal ArticleDOI
c-fos overexpression in splenic B cells augments development of marginal zone B cells.
Kimihiro Yamashita,Akemi Sakamoto,Yusuke Ohkubo,Masafumi Arima,Masahiko Hatano,Yoshikazu Kuroda,Takeshi Tokuhisa +6 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that c-fos overexpression in B cells augments differentiation and accumulation of MZ-B cells in mice stimulated with LPS.
