Journal ArticleDOI

CpG inhibits IgE class switch recombination through suppression of NFκB activity, but not through Id2 or Bcl6

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that there is reduced activity of NF kappa B binding to the IgE promoter and a reduction of Irf4 protein in CpG ODN-treated B cells, indicating the critical role of NFKappa B and Irf 4 in the regulation of IgE CSR through actions downstream of CpGs signaling.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enlargement of the globe with ocular malformations in c-Myc transgenic mice.

TL;DR: The buphthalmos and accompanying changes were not due to expression of the exogenous c-myc in cornea and retina but may be the secondary changes of elevated intraocular pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lack of both α2-antiplasmin and plasminogen activator inhibitor type-1 induces high IgE production.

TL;DR: The simultaneous expression of both the α2-AP and PAI-1 genes contributes to the maintenance of immunological functions that are related to IgE, and it is suggested that both α1 and α2 are involved in the recruitment of lymphocytes in the peripheral tissues.
Journal ArticleDOI

Transcriptional repression of p27 is essential for murine embryonic development.

TL;DR: Nczf knockdown by siRNA resulted in increased expression of p27 in mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs), which suggests that p27 repression by Nczf is essential in the developing embryo.
Journal ArticleDOI

c-fos overexpression in splenic B cells augments development of marginal zone B cells.

TL;DR: It is suggested that c-fos overexpression in B cells augments differentiation and accumulation of MZ-B cells in mice stimulated with LPS.
