TL;DR: It is suggested that patients with autism spectrum disorder should be evaluated for co-occurring hydrocephalus on a routine basis as timely neurosurgical intervention is important.
Journal ArticleDOI
Individuals with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome show intact prediction but reduced adaptation in responses to repeated sounds: Evidence from Bayesian mapping.
Kit Melissa Larsen,Morten Mørup,Michelle Rosgaard Birknow,Elvira Fischer,Line Olsen,Michael Didriksen,W. Baare,Thomas Werge,Marta I. Garrido,Hartwig R. Siebner +9 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that adaptation is reduced in individuals with a 22q11.2 deletion, which can be interpreted in light of the framework of predictive coding as a failure to suppress prediction errors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Do guidelines recommending pharmacogenetic testing of psychiatric patients affect treatment costs and the use of healthcare services
Louise Herbild,Mickael Bech,Dorte Gyrd-Hansen,Mona Christensen,Thomas Werge,Kirsten Annette Nielsen +5 more
TL;DR: No statistically significant differences in total direct costs across sites with different treatment strategies were found, and guidelines of pharmacogenetic testing and possibly also therapeutic drug monitoring seem to lead to reductions in costs for primary care services.
Journal ArticleDOI
Symptoms of ADHD are highly common in undiagnosed adults – A cross-sectional study in a large population of Danes
Louise K. Hoeffding,Maria Haahr Nielsen,Janna Nissen,Maria Didriksen,Thomas Werge,Trine Schow,Christian Erikstrup,Ole Birger Pedersen,Henrik Hjalgrim,Jens Rm Jepsen,Henrik Ullum,Kristoffer Sølvsten Burgdorf,Child +12 more
TL;DR: This data indicates that vaccine-precautions should be considered as a priori as a source of concern for patients at high-risk of developing central nervous system disease.
