Construction of amorphous SiO2 modified β-Bi2O3 porous hierarchical microspheres for photocatalytic antibiotics degradation

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis of hierarchical hierarchical microspheres composed of amorphous SiO2 and crystalline β-Bi2O3 (BSO) via a simple solvothermal process and subsequent calcination is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hollow CdS nanotubes with ZIF-8 as co-catalyst for enhanced photocatalytic activity.

TL;DR: In this paper, a CdS/ZIF-8 heterojunction was designed for water splitting and achieved the optimal photocatalytic hydrogen production performance (2.10mmolg−g−1 L−1), which was 35 times higher than pristine CcS (0.06mmol g−1·L−1).
Journal ArticleDOI

Engineering amorphous red phosphorus onto ZnIn2S4 hollow microspheres with enhanced photocatalytic activity

TL;DR: Amorphous red phosphorus modified ZnIn2S4 hollow spheres were synthesized via a simple one-step hydrothermal method, and the P-modified ZIS exhibited enhanced photocatalytic activity under visible light (λ < 420 nm) irradiation, and 1wt% P-ZIS were found to be the optimal performance for both the H2 evolution and X3B degradation as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

2D black NiO with oxygen vacancies/1D CdS nanocomposites for efficient visible-light-driven photocatalytic H2 production

TL;DR: In this paper , a 2D NiO/1D CdS heterojunction is constructed in different atmospheres for photocatalytic H2 production, which shows a dramatic hydrogen evolution rate of 15.6 mmol·g−1·h−1 under visible light irradiation.
