Stochastization as a possible explanation for some fast MHD phenomena in ASDEX Upgrade

TL;DR: In this paper, the role of stochastizati on magnetic field lines is analyzed in fast reconnection phenomena occurring in magnetized fusion plasma during various conditions in the ASDEX upgrade tokamak.

Fast changes in the mode structure of chirping energetic particle driven modes

TL;DR: In this article, the radial structure of the radial eigenmodes of EH-driven geodesic acoustic modes (EGAMs) was investigated in the ramp-up phase of off-axis NBI heated plasmas in ASDEX Upgrade.

Global nature of magnetic reconnection during sawtooth crash in ASDEX Upgrade

TL;DR: In this article , the toroidal localisation of magnetic reconnection during sawtooth crashes is discussed, and it is shown that heat distributes itself helically along the torus faster than the temporal resolution of any existing ECE diagnostics.
