J-PLUS: The Javalambre Photometric Local Universe Survey

A. J. Cenarro, +132 more
TL;DR: The Javalambre Photometric Local Universe Survey (J-PLUS) as mentioned in this paper is an ongoing 12-band photometric optical survey, observing thousands of square degrees of the Northern Hemisphere from the dedicated JAST/T80 telescope at the OAS.

Fossil Groups in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey

TL;DR: In this article, a search for fossil groups in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey using virtual observatory tools was performed, and a cross-match of the positions of all SDSS luminous red galaxies with sources in the ROSAT All-Sky Survey catalog resulted in a list of elliptical galaxies with extended X-ray emission.

Fossil Groups in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey

TL;DR: In this paper, a search for fossil groups in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey was performed using virtual observatory tools and a cross-match of the positions of all SDSS Luminous Red Galaxies with sources in the ROSAT All-Sky Survey catalog resulted in a list of elliptical galaxies with extended X-ray emission (with a galaxy/ROSAT-source distance of less than 0.5 arcmin in all cases).
