Journal ArticleDOI

Solid-state synthesis of cluster compound [MoCu3OS3(PPh3)3(CH3COO)] with its structure, reactivity and optical non-linearities

TL;DR: In this article, a novel acetate-containing cluster compound [MoCu 3 OS 3 (PPh 3 ) 3 (CH 3 COO − )] was synthesized via a low-heating solid-state synthetic method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structure, and photophysics of copper(I) triphenylphosphine complexes with functionalized 3-(2′-pyrimidinyl)-1,2,4-triazole ligands

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that introducing the trifluoromethyl group into the 1,2,4-triazolyl ring is helpful for enhancing the solid-state luminescence properties of the 1adays copper(i) complexes, whereas the introduction of the tert-butyl group and the use of the pyrimidinyl ring instead of thepyridyl ring are all unfavorable.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reactions of the alkylidyne cluster [Os3(μ-H)2(CO)9(μ3-CNC5H4CHCH2)]. Crystal structures of [Os3(μ-H)2(CO)9(μ3-CNC5H4CHCH2)], [Os3(μ-H)2(CO)9(μ3-CNC5H4-μ-η2-CHCH)Os3(μ-H)(CO)10] and [Os3(μ-H)2(CO)9(μ-3-CNC5H4-C(O)CH3)]

TL;DR: In this paper, the neutral triosmium alkylidyne cluster [Os 3 (μ-H) 2 (CO) 9 ( μ 3 -CNC 5 H 4 - μ - η 2 -CHCH Os 3 ( μ -H)(CO) 10 ] was made in good yield.
Journal ArticleDOI

Platinum-based poly(aryleneethynylene) polymers containing thiazolothiazole group with high hole mobilities for field-effect transistor applications.

TL;DR: Two solution-processable platinum-acetylide polymers functionalized with the electron-deficient thiazolothiazole spacer are synthesized and it is shown that the hole mobility can be notably increased by extending the conjugation length of the chain from the monothienyl to the bithienyl segment on each side of the thiazole ring.
Journal ArticleDOI

Self‐Assembly of Luminescent Platinum‐Salen Schiff‐Base Complexes

TL;DR: In this article, K2PtCl4 with the MeO-salen Schiff base H2L [H2L = N,N′-bis(3-methoxysalicylidene)ethylene-1,2-diamine] gave the precursor complex PtL, which, upon recrystallization from two different solvent mixtures, afforded different solvate forms of PtL·H2O (1) and PtL ·DMF (2) with different solid-state colors.
