Journal ArticleDOI

Deriving phosphorus atomic chain from few-layer black phosphorus

TL;DR: In this article, a top-down route to prepare atomic chains of black phosphorus (BP) via electron beam sculpting inside a transmission electron microscope (TEM) was reported, and the growth and dynamics of 1D phosphorus chains were experimentally captured for the first time.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of piezoelectric-coefficient modulated multilayer film ZnO/Al2O3 and its ultrahigh frequency resonance

TL;DR: In this article, multilayer films composed of piezoelectrically active ZnO and inactive Al2O3 layers were prepared on silicon by a pulsed laser deposition technique.
Journal ArticleDOI

Illuminating interlayer interactions

TL;DR: A synchrotron X-ray diffraction experiment demonstrates an unexpected accumulation of electron density in the interlayer region of TiS2, and provides a benchmark for theoretical models of weak interlayer bonding.
Journal ArticleDOI

Molecular cloning and expression analysis of tyr and tyrp1 genes in normal and albino yellow catfish Tachysurus fulvidraco.

TL;DR: The homologous identities of deduced amino-acid sequences showed that both Tyr and Tyrp1 of T. fulvidraco share considerable similarity with that of channel catfish Ictalurus punctatus and higher expression levels were detected in the normal group revealing that tyr and tyrp1 may have an important role in pigmentation.
