Click polymerization : facile synthesis of functional poly(aroyltriazole)s by metal-free, regioselective 1,3-dipolar polycycloaddition
Anjun Qin,Cathy Ka Wai Jim,Weixin Lu,Jacky Wing Yip Lam,Matthias Häussler,Yongqiang Dong,Herman H. Y. Sung,Ian D. Williams,George K.L. Wong,Ben Zhong Tang +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the metal-free click polymerization of bis(aroyltriazole)s (PATAs; PI−PXII) with high molecular weights (Mw up to 26 700) and regioregularities (F1,4 up to ∼92%) in high yields (up to ∼98%).
Journal ArticleDOI
Broadband perfect absorption of ultrathin conductive films with coherent illumination: Superabsorption of microwave radiation
Sucheng Li,Jie Luo,Shahzad Anwar,Shuo Li,Weixin Lu,Zhi Hong Hang,Yun Lai,Bo Hou,Mingrong Shen,Chinhua Wang +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a single layer of ultrathin conductive film was used to achieve perfect absorption of microwaves in an ultrawide spectrum of radio waves and microwaves when illuminated coherently by two opposing directed incident beams.
Journal ArticleDOI
Arbitrary control of electromagnetic flux in inhomogeneous anisotropic media with near-zero index.
TL;DR: This method provides another approach to efficiently control electromagnetic flux in nonmagnetic media by designing the spatial profile of the other permittivity component in such inhomogeneous media.
Journal ArticleDOI
Arbitrary order exceptional point induced by photonic spin-orbit interaction in coupled resonators.
TL;DR: It is shown that an arbitrary order exceptional point can be achieved in a simple system consisting of identical resonators placed near a waveguide, and the enhancement of sensitivity to external perturbations near the exceptional point is demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metal-free, regioselective diyne polycyclotrimerization: Synthesis, photoluminescence, solvatochromism, and two-photon absorption of a triphenylamine-containing hyperbranched poly(aroylarylene)
Anjun Qin,Jacky Wing Yip Lam,Hongchen Dong,Weixin Lu,Cathy Ka Wai Jim,Yongqiang Dong,Matthias Häussler,Herman H. Y. Sung,Ian D. Williams,George K.L. Wong,Ben Zhong Tang +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a hyperbranched poly(aroylarylene) containing triphenylamine (TPA) moiety (hb-P1) was synthesized by metal-free polycyclotrimerization of N,N-bis(4-ethynylcarbonylphenyl)aniline (1) in a high yield (86%) with a perfect 1,3,5-regioregularity.
