Disruption of adenosine 2A receptor exacerbates NAFLD through increasing inflammatory responses and SREBP1c activity
Yuli Cai,Honggui Li,Mengyang Liu,Ya Pei,Juan Zheng,Juan Zheng,Jing Zhou,Xianjun Luo,Wenya Huang,Linqiang Ma,Linqiang Ma,Qiuhua Yang,Qiuhua Yang,Shaodong Guo,Xiaoqiu Xiao,Qifu Li,Tianshu Zeng,Fanyin Meng,Heather Francis,Shannon Glaser,Lulu Chen,Yuqing Huo,Yuqing Huo,Gianfranco Alpini,Chaodong Wu +24 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that disruption of A2AR in both macrophage and hepatocytes accounts for increased severity of NAFLD, likely through increasing inflammation and through elevating lipogenic events due to stimulation of SREBP1c expression and transcription activity.
Journal ArticleDOI
NEIL3 promotes hepatoma epithelial–mesenchymal transition by activating the BRAF/MEK/ERK/TWIST signaling pathway
Hui Huang Lai,Liang Yi Hung,Chia Jui Yen,Hsu Chin-Hung,Ruo Yu Chen,Yu‐Chao Ku,Hang‐Tat Lo,Hung Wen Tsai,Yun‐Ping Lee,Tz Yang,Yen‐Yu Chen,Yi-Shuian Huang,Wenya Huang +12 more
TL;DR: Using RNA-seq and invasion/migration assays, it is found that NEIL3 elevated the expression of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) factors, including the E/N-cadherin switch and the transcription of MMP genes, and promoted the invasion, migration, and stemness phenotypes of HCC cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Antigenic Cross-Reactivity Between SARS-CoV-2 S1-RBD and Its Receptor ACE2
Yen-Chung Lai,Yu Wei Cheng,C.-H. Chao,Yu Ying Chang,Chi-De Chen,Wei-Jiun Tsai,Shuying Wang,Yee Shin Lin,Chih Peng Chang,Woei Jer Chuang,Li-yin Chen,Ying-Ren Wang,Sui-Yuan Chang,Wenya Huang,Jen Ren Wang,Chin-Kai Tseng,Chun-Kuang Lin,Yung Chun Chuang,Trai Ming Yeh +18 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that ACE2-cross-reactive anti-S1-RBD antibodies can be induced during SARS-CoV-2 infection due to potential antigenic cross-reactivity between S1- RBD and its receptor ACE2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhancing diagnosis of T-cell lymphoma using non-recombined T-cell receptor sequences
Yi-Lin Chen,Chung Liang Ho,Chen Yan-Hung,Wan Li Chen,Chen Chang,Yi-Hsin Hou,Jian-Rong Chen,Pin Jun Chen,Nan Haw Chow,Wenya Huang,Ya Ting Hsu,Tsai Yun Chen,Tsunglin Liu +12 more
TL;DR: In this article , a cost-effective digital PCR assay that quantifies the relative abundance of non-recombined TCRβ sequences containing a J2-2P~J2-3 segment was proposed.
