Journal ArticleDOI

Electronic structure studies of chemically synthesized MgFe 2 O 4 nanoparticles

TL;DR: In this article, the integral area of spectral features of O K -edge spectra is associated with the change of unoccupied O p -projected density of states of the nanoparticles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Low-temperature wafer-scale synthesis of two-dimensional SnS2.

TL;DR: The formation of conformal SnS2 layers over a three-dimensional undulating hole structure is confirmed, which reveals the potential for applications beyond the planar structured architecture and could be a step toward the realization of 2D metal dichalcogenides in industry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bright Nitrogen-Vacancy Centers in Diamond Inverted Nanocones

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a scalable quantum system for repeater-based quantum communications, quantum sensing, and distributed quantum computing networks with quantum emitters with long-lived quantum memories.
Journal ArticleDOI

Covalency, hybridization and valence state effects in nano- and micro-sized ZnFe2O4

TL;DR: In this paper, a few sets of nano-sized and micro-sized ZnFe2O4 were synthesized using the nitrate method using X-ray absorption spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of thermal annealing on the properties of ZnO thin films

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of thermal annealing ranging from 0 to 800°C on the various properties of zinc oxide thin film grown using radio-frequency sputtering was reported, and the optical band-gap of these films exhibit a significant variation with anneeling temperature, which is in-line with the variation of crystallite size.
