Journal ArticleDOI

Universal sheet resistance and revised phase diagram of the cuprate high-temperature superconductors

TL;DR: This work demonstrates for the quintessential compound HgBa2CuO4+δ a dramatic switch from linear to purely quadratic (Fermi liquid-like, ρ ∝ T2) resistive behavior in the pseudogap regime and reveals the fundamental resistance per copper–oxygen sheet.
Journal ArticleDOI

Universal quantum oscillations in the underdoped cuprate superconductors

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that quantum oscillations are a universal property of the underdoped CuO2 planes, and it opens the door to quantitative future studies of the metallic state and of the Fermi-surface reconstruction phenomenon in this structurally simplest cuprate.
Journal ArticleDOI

In-plane magnetoresistance obeys Kohler's rule in the pseudogap phase of cuprate superconductors.

TL;DR: In-plane resistivity and transverse magnetoresistance measurements for underdoped HgBa(2)CuO(4+δ) (Hg1201) show a quadratic field dependence, and it is shown that this behavior is typically masked in cuprates with lower structural symmetry or strong disorder effects.
