Journal ArticleDOI
Highly Stereoselective Conjugate Addition and α‐Alkynylation Reaction with Electron‐Deficient Alkynes Catalyzed by Chiral Scandium(III) Complexes
TL;DR: The highly Z-selective asymmetric conjugate addition of 3-substituted oxindoles to alkynyl carbonyl compounds has been developed by using scandium complexes of chiral N,N'-dioxides under mild conditions with excellent yields and high enantiomeric and geometric control.
Journal ArticleDOI
Asymmetric Synthesis of Fused Bicyclic N,O‐ and O,O‐Acetals via Cascade Reaction by Gold(I)/N,N′‐Dioxide‐Nickel(II) Bimetallic Relay Catalysis
Journal ArticleDOI
Chiral N,N′-dioxide/Co(II)-promoted asymmetric 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of nitrones with methyleneindolinones
TL;DR: A chiral N,N'-dioxide/Co(BF4)2·6H2O complex catalytic system has been developed to efficiently catalyze the asymmetric 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of nitrones with methyleneindolinones.
Journal ArticleDOI
Catalytic Asymmetric Construction of β-Azido Amides and Esters via Haloazidation
TL;DR: By this approach, the stereoselective α-halo-β-azido difunctionalization of both α,β-unsaturated amides and α, β-uns saturated esters was achieved and enabled the construction of a broad spectrum of valuable functionalized amide and esters.
Journal ArticleDOI
Asymmetric Formal [3 + 2]-Cycloaddition of Azomethine Imines with Azlactones To Synthesize Bicyclic Pyrazolidinones
TL;DR: An efficient enantioselective formal [3 + 2]-cycloaddition of azomethine imines with azlactones has been realized by using a chiral bifunctional bisguanidinium hemisalt as the catalyst, providing a method to construct biologically important chiral tetrahydropyrazolo-1,7-dione derivatives bearing vicinal aza-quaternary and tertiary carbon centers.
