Journal ArticleDOI

Cytotoxic indole alkaloids from Tabernaemontana officinalis.

TL;DR: Alkaloids 1 and 2 are voaphylline-vobasinyl type bisindole alkaloids, a structural type previously unknown, while 3-6 exhibited cytotoxicity against three human cancer cell lines HeLa, MCF-7, and SW480 with IC50 values ranging from 1.42 to 11.35 μM.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dimeric Erythrina Alkaloids from the Flower of Erythrina variegata

TL;DR: The structures were determined on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR, FTIR, UV, and mass spectroscopic data and X-ray crystal diffraction and the biogenetic relationship of 1 and 2 is proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel monoterpenoid indole alkaloids from Melodinus yunnanensis

TL;DR: In this paper, five monoterpenoid indole alkaloids, namely meloyines A-B (1-B), meloyine II-III (3-4), 10-O -glucosyl-scandine (5), and 10- O -gulwosyl scandine(5), were isolated from leaves and twigs of Melodinus yunnanensis and their structures were elucidated based on 1D and 2D- NMR, FTIR, UV, and MS spectroscopic data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bioactive norditerpenoids from Cephalotaxus fortunei var. alpina and C. lanceolata

TL;DR: The SAR (structure-activity relationship) analysis disclosed that the tropone moiety and the lactone ring were crucial structural features for the observed activities and led to a new candidate, cephinoid H, which demonstrated an inhibition of 49.0% by administration to zebrafish at a dose of 60.0 ng/mL.
Journal ArticleDOI

Five New Alkaloids from Cephalotaxus lanceolata and C. fortunei var. alpina

TL;DR: Five new alkaloids were isolated from the leaves and twigs of Cephalotaxus lanceolata and C. fortunei var.
