Novel self-assembled 2D networks based on zinc metal ion co-ordination : synthesis and comparative study with 3D networks

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis of linear and trigonal terpyridine bearing molecules (tpys) and their self-assembly to form novel extended self-assembled 2D networks of trigonal tpys with linear Tpys through zinc metal ion (Zn2+) co-ordination is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel self assembled monolayers of allyl phenyl thiophene ether as potential dielectric material for organic thin film transistors

TL;DR: In this paper, self assembled mono-layers of these materials have been covalently grafted onto (111) hydrogenated silicon surfaces through thermal hydrosilation with the alkene end by Si-C bonding mechanism.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phase-Selective Synthesis of Cu2ZnSnS4 Nanocrystals Using Different Sulfur Precursors.

TL;DR: In this paper, Kesterite and wurtzite Cu2ZnSnS4 nanoparticles with a mixture of both structures are prepared by hot injection of the sulfur source into an oleylamine (OA) solution of Cu(OAc)2, ZnCl2, and SnCl4 using elemental sulfur, 1-dodecanethiol, and thioacetamide in OA as sulfur source, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

A fused thieno[3,2-b]thiophene-dithiophene based donor molecule for organic photovoltaics: a structural comparative study with indacenodithiophene

TL;DR: In this article, a novel donor material, di(HTh2BT)DTCTT, having a dithienocyclopenta-thieno[3,2-b]thiophene core, was synthesized and used as the molecular donor in a small molecular organic photovoltaic device (sm-OPV).

Organic memory device with a charge storage layer and method of manufacture

TL;DR: In this article, an organic memory device with an active layer, at least one charge storage layer of a film of an organic dielectric material, and nanostructures and/or nano-particles of a charge-storing material on or in the film of the material was described.
