9,10-Ter-anthrylene-ethynylene: a new molecular architecture for solution processed anthracene-based thin film transistors
Antonio Dell'Aquila,Francesco Marinelli,Ju Nie Tey,Peisi Keg,Yeng Ming Lam,Oleksiy L. Kapitanchuk,Piero Mastrorilli,Cosimo Francesco Nobile,Pinalysa Cosma,Alexandr Marchenko,Denis Fichou,Subodh Mhaisalkar,Gian Paolo Suranna,Luisa Torsi +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, the ter-anthrylene-ethynylene (D3ANT) structure was used for organic thin-film transistors, which is stable and endowed with sufficient solubility to guarantee the formation of good quality films.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular engineering of two-dimensional hybrid perovskites with broadband emission for white light-emitting diodes
Hongwei Hu,Samuel A. Morris,Xianfeng Qiao,Daming Zhao,Teddy Salim,Bingbing Chen,Elbert E. M. Chia,Yeng Ming Lam +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a series of (100)-oriented 2D perovskites whose structures are templated by the organic cations were used as down-converting phosphors in white light-emitting diodes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Controlled synthesis and association behavior of graft Pluronic in aqueous solutions.
Yong Zhang,Yeng Ming Lam +1 more
TL;DR: Poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) was grafted onto Pluronic F127 to produce novel amphiphilic PVP-g-F127 graft copolymers to be examined using differential scanning calorimetry, surface tension measurements, and dynamic light scattering.
Journal ArticleDOI
Understanding the Role of Single Molecular ZnS Precursors in the Synthesis of In(Zn)P/ZnS Nanocrystals
Lifei Xi,Deok-Yong Cho,Martial Duchamp,Chris Boothroyd,Jun Yan Lek,Astrid Besmehn,Rainer Waser,Yeng Ming Lam,Yeng Ming Lam,Beata Kardynal +9 more
TL;DR: This work systematically studied the influence of different SMP end groups, the complex formation and stability between the SMP and oleylamine (OLA), the reaction temperature, and the amount of SMP on the synthesis of high-quality In(Zn)P/ZnS NCs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Zinc Incorporation on the Performance of Red Light Emitting InP Core Nanocrystals
Lifei Xi,Deok-Yong Cho,Astrid Besmehn,Martial Duchamp,Detlev Grützmacher,Yeng Ming Lam,Beata Kardynal +6 more
TL;DR: PL, PLQY, and time-resolved PL show that Zn carboxylates added to the precursors during NC cores facilitate the synthesis of high-quality InP NCs by suppressing nonradiative and sub-band-gap recombination, and the effect is visible also after a ZnS shell is grown on the cores.
