In vitro anti-herpes simplex virus activity of 1,2,4,6-tetra-O-galloyl-β-D-glucose from Phyllanthus emblica L. (Euphorbiaceae).

TL;DR: It was suggested that 1,2,4,6‐tetra‐O‐galloyl‐β‐d‐glucose (1246TGG) might exert anti‐HSV activity both by inactivating extracellular viral particles and by inhibiting viral biosynthesis in host cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cofilin 1-Mediated Biphasic F-Actin Dynamics of Neuronal Cells Affect Herpes Simplex Virus 1 Infection and Replication

TL;DR: The biphasic F-actin dynamics in HSV-1 neuronal infection is demonstrated for the first time and the association of F-Actin with the changes in the expression and activity of cofilin 1 is confirmed to provide insight into the mechanism by which HSV -1 productively infects neuronal cells and causes pathogenesis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Proteomics analysis of autophagy-deficient Atg7-/- MEFs reveals a close relationship between F-actin and autophagy.

TL;DR: A quantitative proteomics analysis of autophagy-deficient mouse embryonic fibroblast cells using iTRAQ labeling coupled with on-line 2D LC/MS/MS demonstrated a close relationship between F-actin and autophagic and provide the basis for further investigation of their interactions.
Journal ArticleDOI

7-O-methylkaempferol and -quercetin glycosides from the whole plant of Nervilia fordii.

TL;DR: Five new 7-O-methylkaempferol and -quercetin glycosides, namely, nervilifordins A-E (1-5), were isolated from the whole plant of Nervilia fordii and their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analyses, including HSQC, HMBC, ROESY, and chemical methods.
